Bio
Sunila Khan is a storyteller, educator, and impact producer who believes in the power of stories to drive meaningful social change. With a background in media, education, and creative writing, she has grown to love the labour of documentary filmmaking and has passionately embraced it. Through pen and lens, she aspires to tell everyday stories of love, struggle, resilience, and hope.
She has contributed to several documentary and impact-driven projects, including Moklani, The Colour of Smog, Musavvari: The Colours of Traditions, and Bhashaili (Adrift). As a creative producer and content manager, her work extends beyond content development to designing and leading outreach strategies that ensure the stories told on screen spark dialogue, inspire action, and create lasting impact.
Currently, Sunila is coordinating the development of a digital platform that brings together art, climate, and heritage. Through this initiative, she is exploring new modes of storytelling that invite deeper engagement with environmental and cultural issues.
Sunila brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to everything she does — from research and narrative-building to designing pitches and impact campaigns for documentary films.
