Refilwe Chiloane: Impact Producer | Impact Coordinator
Refilwe Chiloane is an Almna of the Sunshine Cinema Spark Impact Programme. She is a passionate impact producer dedicated to using film as a tool for social change. She comes with a background in community engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and project management, specilises in facilitating film screenings and dialogues that spark meaningful conversations on gender equity, mental health, environmental sustainability, and other pressing social issues. She have worked with filmmakers on impact campaigns as a freelance Impact Facilitator under Sunshine Cinema. As a member of the WitsRHI Community Advisory Board, Refilwe contributes to medical research discussions, reinforcing their commitment to advocacy and community-driven change. Her experience in UX design, data analysis, and agile project management further strengthens her ability to design and execute effective impact strategies. Refilwe believes in the power of film and its use in shifting narratives, having working in urban and peri-urban communities.
