Bio

Myles is a South African documentary development and impact producer based in Cape Town. Trained as a design thinker by d-school afrika (based on Stanford's methodology), he approaches every creative project through the lens of distribution and impact strategy from the outset, not as an afterthought. With a natural eye for documentary storytelling and grounding in advertising and communication at Ogilvy, he brings a producer's instinct for audience and access alongside a filmmaker's eye for story.

Community is central to how Myles works: he sees community cinema screenings not just as a distribution tactic but as a space for access and conversation, where audiences engage directly with the stories being told. This impact-first approach has shaped his work with NEWF, Rewild Africa, and Theta Films. Deeply rooted in Cape Town, Myles brings local knowledge and relationships to every project he develops there.
